The UML 2 Diagrams
 
The UML 2 standard is with us. In July 2003 the UML 2 superstructure was published and since then there has been plenty of speculation about the changes and the impact of those changes on the UML community.
The most obvious changes to from UML 1.x to 2 has been the introduction of new diagrams. The new diagrams include:
  • Structure diagram
  • Composite diagram
  • Communication diagram
  • Timing diagram
  • Interaction overview diagram
